Hi everyone, I’m Stephanie the owner and founder of MBC Cookies & Cakes 👋
I’m 20 years old and living my dream of turning my love for baking into a full-time career.
MBC Cookies & Cakes began when I was just 15, right in the middle of COVID. Like so many people, I found myself spending more time in the kitchen experimenting with recipes, testing new flavours, and baking batch after batch of cookies. My family quickly became my (very happy) taste testers, and before I knew it, friends and neighbours started asking to order some too. What started as a lockdown hobby soon grew into something much bigger and that’s how MBC Cookies & Cakes was born. 🍪
After finishing high school, I decided to follow my passion and take my baking to the next level. Instead of heading to university, I enrolled in a Certificate IV in Patisserie at William Angliss Institute 🎓🥐. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I learnt so much from the talented chefs and mentors who guided me throughout the course, and in 2025, I proudly graduated as Student of the Year, finishing at the top of my cohort. 🏆
Looking back, it’s surreal to see how far this journey has come, from baking in my family kitchen at 15 to now running my own business, creating custom cakes, cookies, and desserts for celebrations all over.
Every order I make is crafted with care, creativity, and a whole lot of love 🩷. My goal is to create sweets that don’t just look beautiful but also taste amazing and bring a little extra joy to your special moments. Whether it’s a birthday, wedding, baby showers, christenings or “just because” celebration, I’m so grateful to be a part of it.
